Seacrest in for Larry King?

Ryan Seacrest is in “serious negotiations” to replace Larry King at the end of the year, MSNBC reports, citing an unnamed source. King told the New York Times in April 2007 that Seacrest is his first choice to take over “Larry King Live,” but he was unsure of how versed the “American Idol” host was in politics and world affairs, the Web site says. The article didn’t indicate whether CNN was contacted to confirm or deny the report. A representative for Seacrest had no comment on the report, the Web site says.
