The Ski Channel is being targeted for an August launch, Broadcasting & Cable reports, citing an unnamed source. Founder Steve Bellamy declined to comment, but revealed the channel had acquired the rights to Skiers World series, the United States Snowshoe Association series of events and the Level 1 library of action-sports films, the newspaper says.
