SoapNet has ordered a second season of “General Hospital: Night Shift,” Multichannel News reports. Production on the 13 episodes will begin next month, with the premiere set for July 22 at 11 p.m., the newspaper says. “Night Shift’s” debut on SoapNet garnered 1.15 million viewers, the network’s highest rating ever, the newspaper notes.
