Syndicated show ratings were down for the week ending May 11, the second full week of sweeps, TVNewsday reports. However, ratings for “Oprah” increased 14% to 5.8 million with the help of celebrity guests Tom Cruise, Cher and Barbara Walters, the Web site says. Court shows were mostly flat to down, while game shows were all down compared to the previous week, the Web site notes.
