Turner Nets Attract Producers, Stars

TNT is developing a roster of new drama programs from executive producers George Clooney, “24” co-creator Joel Surnow and L.A. cop Will Beall, the Hollywood Reporter says. TBS is developing a comedy series written and produced by its star, William H. Macy, the newspaper says. TNT hopes to have 80% original content on weeknights, with original programming on three nights a week, by 2010, Turner executives told advertisers at its upfront presentation, the newspaper notes.
