AT&T Wireless yesterday began offering its 10-channel Mobile TV service, which costs subscribers $15 a month, to its 71.4 million subscribers, the New York Times reports. AT&T is banking on the U.S. popularity of the concept, which started in Japan and Korea and has since become popular in Western Europe, the newspaper says.
