Actress Mary McCormack has made a career of playing “sensible” women on TV and in movies, but her role in USA Network’s new original series “In Plain Sight” gives her a chance to show off a bit, the Associated Press says. “There’s a lot more comedy than most things I’ve done,” says Ms. McCormack. “And it’s action-y, which I’ve always wanted to do. I’m sort of built for action, and I’ve never really had the opportunity.”
