Actors to Sign Waivers to Avoid Shut-Downs

Screen Actors Guild members in film shoots are likely to sign any of about 300 waiver agreements with independent producers in order to prevent production shut-downs from the likely expiration of the guild’s contract June 30, Daily Variety reports. SAG and the studios remain apart on issues such as consent requirements for online clips and DVD residuals, the newspaper says.
