Former New York state Sen. Alfonse D’Amato and Twentieth Television are preparing to shoot a court show pilot featuring D’Amato, the Hollywood Reporter says. The show would encourage D’Amato, who was known for his comical filibusters in the Senate, to bring out his larger-than-life personality as he handles small-claims cases, the newspaper says.
