DirecTV Launches Azteca Mexico

DirecTV will launch Azteca Mexico, a 24-hour Hispanic network that will air on DirecTV Mas in the U.S., Mediaweek reports. TV Azteca’s three Mexican networks will provide exclusive programming including Mexican telenovelas, news program “Hechos,” morning show “Venga la Alegria” and reality and entertainment shows, the newspaper says. Azteca Mexico will debut on DirecTV’s Channel 442 on June 11, the newspaper notes.
