CNN’s Fareed Zakaria has political friends in high places, but this familiarity with guests may be hurting his approach as an interviewer, the Los Angeles Times says. Although Zakaria was able to score interviews with Henry Kissinger and Condoleezza Rice for his “Fareed Zakaria GPS” Sunday news program, which debuted earlier this month, Zakaria showed an unfortunate level of “coziness” with his guests, the paper says.
