Havas Chief Expects Ad Spending Cuts

The chairman of the world’s sixth-largest ad agency holding company, Vincent Bollore of Havas SA, said he expected marketers to reduce ad spending as tough economic conditions cut into their bottom lines, the Wall Street Journal reports. Mr. Bellore said he hadn’t seen cuts in budgets yet, but told a press conference at an advertising awards show in Cannes “I don’t believe there is any reason the global [ad] market will remain as high as it is.”
