Housing Shows Stay Strong on TV

While the country’s housing market remains depressed, television shows about real estate and home improvement are booming on channels including TLC and HGTV, the New York Times says. Viewers continue to tune in to shows like “Designed to Sell” and “Flip this House,” but their focus has been changed from “how much can I make” to “how can I sell my home quickly,” network executives tell the paper.
