Kids, Teens Consume Most Video

Kids and teens are the biggest users of online video, according to Nielsen Online’s VideoCensus, Mediaweek reports. Kids 2-11 accounted for an average 51 streams and 118 minutes of online video during the month of April, while teens 12-17 averaged 74 streams and 132 minutes of online video during the same time, the newspaper says. YouTube reaches the most streamers, especially among teens, whereas TV brands such as DisneyChannel.com and Nick.com dominate with kids, the newspaper notes.
