NBC is planning to bring management of eight company-owned station Web sites back under its wings, Sillicon Alley Insider reports. NBC SVP of Local Integrated Media Brian Buchwald will helm the Web site operations with help from a stream of new hires at NBC Universal’s stations group, including the Daily News’ Greg Gittrich, the Web site says. The Web operations are currently being managed under contract by Internet Broadcasting, the Web site notes.
