Scarborough Comfortable with ‘Morning Joe’

Joe Scarborough’s “Morning Joe” on MSNBC is generating ratings similar to what “Imus in the Morning” was getting when radio host Don Imus was fired after some racially offensive comments last year, the New York Times reports. The host, a former Republican congressman is now comfortable on the liberal cable news channel with a hard-core political show has attracted every major presidential candidate and mixes in unusual bits of comic relief.

  1. I enjoy your show every morning which was recommended to me by a conservative friend (even though I am an Obama Democrat.)
I do, however, get very upset when after a small piece of a news story is reported that you react in such a sarcastic way – this morning, for instance, in no way did the admintration Dept. of Homeland Security attack our young men and women in the Armed Forces. Please, at least, get your facts straight before laughing and making a joke out of it.
You did the same thing last week, when again, a small piece of a news report from Obama was played regarding a small government project had come in on time and under budget – you burst into laughter before you even knew what he was referring to and even when you did find out what he actually said, you ignored it.
I try to watch most of the MSNBC shows – both liberal and concervative so that I can try to see both sides of the issue, but I am sick and tired of both kinds of shows playing tiny pieces of news that suit them. It doesn’t give the viewer the real story. I think this is dangerous because I believe that most people watch just one kind of show – either liberal or conservative – which ever pleases them the most. I say this to Chris Mathews, Keith, Rachel.
My last point, could David Gregory please come back to 1600 Pennsylvania Ave? At least the reporting seemed to be accurate. Thank you.
P.S. Who knows, maybe you’ll laugh at this e-mail as well.
