Supporters of Democratic presidential candidate Hillary Clinton have urged people to boycott cable news coverage for what they say was sexist coverage of the New York senator, the New York Times reports. Media members including NBC senior VP Phil Griffin have responded by saying that the coverage was fair and that Clinton supporters started the accusations as a method of picking up votes, the newspaper says.
