Time Warner ‘Disciplined’ in Weather Bidding

With a new round of bidding for The Weather Channel and its Weather.com Web site due today, Time Warner’s CFO told investors the company will be “extremely price disciplined and price sensitive,” according to the Wall Street Journal. NBC Universal is also bidding for The Weather Channel and offers are in the $3.5 billion range, lower than its owner Landmark Communications had been seeking.
