Time Warner Cable has named Gail MacKinnon as executive VP and chief government relations officer, Multichannel News reports. She will lead Time Warner Cable’s public policy strategy, the newspaper says. MacKinnon is currently senior VP of global public policy for Time Warner Inc. and previously held senior government relations positions at the National Cable & Telecommunications Association, Viacom, CBS, Tele-Communications Inc. and Turner Broadcasting, the newspaper notes.
