The U.S. District Court in Los Angeles may soon hear a case regarding cable’s lack of a la carte programming options, Multichannel News says. Judge Christina Snyder said on Monday she will contemplate the case further. The lawsuit was brought by consumers from four different states who say that some of the major cable and satellite operators are violating federal antitrust laws by not allowing a la carte programming, MultiChannel says.
