USA network averaged 2.56 million viewers last week, beating its cable rivals after a five-week hiatus from its number one position, Mediaweek reports. USA was buoyed by the return of “Law & Order: Criminal Intent,” which brought in 4.53 million viewers and helped new series “In Plain Sight” attract 4.39 million viewers in its second outing, the newspaper says. Meanwhile, TNT had the most watched program on cable with Nascar coverage bringing in 6.1 million viewers, the newspaper notes.
