Weather and CNN: A Good Fit?

The Weather Channel, for which Time Warner is making a bid, would be complementary with TW’s CNN because of the news channel’s thorough weather coverage and cross-promotional opportunities, the New York Times says. Weather Channel Web site Weather.com, which attracts almost 40 million monthly visitors, would also be an asset for Time Warner, the newspaper says.
