A recent survey by TV Land and consumer research company OTX finds that baby boomers, now in their 40s and 50s, are spending more money on themselves and their relatives, Multichannel News says. This generation is spending twice as much money than younger demographics and is less likely to remain loyal to specific brands, the survey says, Multichannel reports.

Personally I think people in the baby boomer stage are not interested in brand names..looking for a good buy..and not caught up with the hot brands like younger generations. It is about growing up with that attitude that causes that.
Spending money is fun..and if you have it buy things that give you pleasure…carol stanley
