Federal Communications Commission Chairman Kevin Martin celebrated the regulator’s likely decision to support his plan to punish cable giant Comcast for interfering with some customers’ file-sharing software, the New York Times reports. Such sanctions will be “increasingly applied” to overly intrusive multichannel service operators, the newspaper says, citing an interview with Martin Tuesday.
