HBO will premiere Alan Ball’s new show “True Blood” on Sept. 7, Zap2it reports. Meanwhile, the sketch comedy show “Little Britain USA” has been slated for Sept. 28, the Web site says. The network has been short on original series this summer due to the writers strike, which pushed back the planned summer premieres for “Entourage,” “Big Love” and “Flight of the Conchords,” the Web site notes.
