Robert Redford, now a consultant to Sundance Channel, is planning a series of short Sundance Channel films for mobile phones, the New York Times reports. Redford told the paper he probably will direct the films and also might appear in them. Sundance Channel, founded and partly owned by the actor, was sold to Cablevision Systems’ Rainbow Media last month. He is expected to have an office next to Rainbow CEO Josh Sapan, but said, “This is not my day job.”
