NBC Universal President and CEO Jeff Zucker and The Weinstein Co. Co-Chairman Harvey Weinstein appeared in New York Supreme Court, testifying in their dispute over “Project Runway” moving from NBC’s cable network Bravo to Lifetime, Adweek reports. Zucker said Weinstein agreed to let NBC match offers for the show, and would have if given the chance. Mr. Weinstein said he did bring an offer for the show to NBC, but it was an earlier offer from Discovery Communications CEO David Zaslav, a former NBC exec. The judge made no rulings on either company’s motions during the session. Meanwhile, the fifth and final season of “Runway” premiered on Bravo and drew 2.9 million viewers, the most for any season premiere on the channel, Broadcasting & Cable reports.
