Sears to Sell Dish Converter Box

Jul 17, 2008  •  Post A Comment

Sears will start selling a digital converter box from satellite operator Dish Network at about 700 stores in advance of the switchover to all-digital broadcasts next February, Web site TVPredictions.com reports. The box will retail for $59.99, though may cost as little as $19.99 with coupons distributed by a federal government program, the Web site says.

  1. Regarding the switchover to DTV only broadcasting; the original date was set for February; but has now been pushed back to June 12th. Of course people that already have a DISH Network, DIRECTV or a cable box don’t need to worry as they are good to go. But if you have a television that is not digital and you don’t subscribe to either a cable or satellite provider then you need to buy an all digital tv.

  2. Thanks for your visiting this http://www.hello-free.com/freebies online store.

  3. I’ll gear this review to 2 types of people: current Zune owners who are considering an upgrade, and people trying to decide between a Zune and an iPod. (There are other players worth considering out there, like the Sony Walkman X, but I hope this gives you enough info to make an informed decision of the Zune vs players other than the iPod line as well.)
