CNBC’s “Squawk Box” will host a series of debates on the economy with advisers from the Obama and McCain campaigns, Broadcasting & Cable reports. The first debate will air July 10 at 7:30 a.m., with another debate to follow once a week for five weeks, the newspaper says. The July 10 debate will feature Jason Furman, economic policy director for the Obama campaign, and Douglas Holtz-Eakin, economic adviser to McCain, on job growth, the newspaper notes.
