Representatives of Women in Cable Telecommunications are scheduled to address members of Congress on the status of women in the cable workforce Thursday, Multichannel News reports. WICT is expected to release the results of its PAR project, which aimed to measure working conditions for women in the cable industry, the trade paper says. The group’s visit will happen on the eve of the House vote on the Paycheck Fairness Act, Multichannel says.
