Sugar Network, the group of blogs dedicated women’s fashion and gossip, is ending a partnership with NBC Universal so it can sell its own ads and benefit from an audience that’s doubled over the past year, the New York Times reports. NBC started selling ads for Sugar last year after leading a $10 million investment round in Sugar, and had been getting 50% of Sugar’s advertising revenue, the newspaper says.
