ABC News has faith in its daily Web video news show, pressing ahead with the specially created series instead of ending it as previously speculated, the Hollywood Reporter says. The series, hosted by “World News” anchor Charles Gibson, is usually done by 3 p.m. EST and averages about 600,000 downloads per day. ABC News also plans on relaunching its “World News” Web site to include more blogs and contributions from Gibson and other senior staff members, the trade paper says.
