Advertisers Get Glimpse of ‘90210’

Although they still may not be able to watch it, advertisers will get a glimpse of what to expect from The CW’s “90210,” AdAge reports. Advertisers in the new show will be informed of its content via Media Information Services, which views individual episodes and writes reports with advertisers’ concerns in mind. Because screeners weren’t issued to the media or to advertisers, advocacy group Parents Television Council issued a statement earlier this week warning advertisers about the show. The PTC likened “90210” to The CW’s “Gossip Girl” in its depiction of teenage sex and underage drinking.
