Disney has denied speculation by a stock analyst that it may sell its 10 ABC-owned TV stations to invest in content, Broadcasting & Cable reports. No major broadcast network operates without a foundation of O&O TV stations in major cities for distribution, the newspaper says. Caris & Co. speculated that Disney would require station buyers to maintain the ABC network affiliation, the newspaper notes.
