After six years of remastering, Warner Bros. has sold 1962’s “How the West Was Won” exclusively to Starz’s Encore Westerns, Daily Variety reports. The studio spent somewhere in the “seven figures” reworking the film, which was originally shot in the three-screen Cinerama format, the trade says.
