Producer 20th Century Fox TV is preparing FX’s “It’s Always Sunny in Philadelphia” for cable syndication, MediaWeek reports. The series was picked up for 39 more episodes by FX, bringing its total number to 84, the newspaper says. FX will use the series to launch its new comedy “Testees,” which will follow “It’s Always Sunny” beginning Oct. 9, the newspaper notes.
