No new off-network sitcoms will air on TV stations this fall, TVNewsday reports. However, the success of “Two and a Half Men” and “Family Guy” in syndication bodes well for a resurgence in fall 2009 with possible candidates “The Office” and “Everybody Hates Chris,” the Web site says. HBO’s “Entourage” and “Curb Your Enthusiasm” also are being prepared for syndication in 2009 or 2010, while Twentieth Television may add to the roster with its series “My Name Is Earl,” “How I Met Your Mother” and “American Dad,” the Web site notes.
