A revised count of the ballots in the election of directors at Yahoo shows there was a significant protest vote against management directors including CEO Jerry Wang, Reuters reports. The Internet company said in a statement that revised vote tallies showed 33.7% of votes withheld for CEO Jerry Yang and nearly 40% withheld for chairman Roy Bostock. The executives resisted a takeover offer from Microsoft that would have netted shareholders billions of dollars.
