Sour Times for Spanish-Language Media

At times thought to be recession-proof, Spanish-language media is currently facing its own tough financial times, MediaPost reports. Univision’s second-quarter results showed revenues down for its TV, radio and Internet operations. NBCU CEO Jeff Zucker admitted on-air that Telemundo needed more work. The beat-up auto industry is among those faulted for the lackluster revenues.
