  1. Why is TV Land showing a contemporary series that is still on the air? The show is supposed to be about TV classics. They should not air a show that is less than 10 years old and certainly not one that is still in production with new episodes. They rightly stopped showing Just Shoot Me only recently.
More importantly, the status of Scrubs as a classic is not yet established.
They also show too many movies, though they’ve gotten a bit better in that department.

  2. I remember when Nick at Nite showed the newer shows, and TV Land showed the older stuff. That is the way it should be. Now Nick at Nite AND Tv Land are producing new programming and showing contempary programming that’s not even off the air in first run? What’s up with this? I know it’s an attempt to get more ratings, but still…I don’t like it.
When Game Show Network decided to rebrand as GSN:The Network for Games, and show maybe 3 hours a day, if that, of real game shows, the network dove to its lowest ratings ever. It has finally started to climb back to where it was in 2002 before the rebrand, but it nowhere near the success they had when real classic game shows filled the lineup. Now with GSN Live focusing on classic shows, and the airing of shows like Tic Tac Dough, Child’s Play, Password +, etc, they have finally brought back the core group of people.
I hope TV Land realizes that when they bring in newer programming that appeals to a different demographic, they lose their core audience who watch for reruns of shows like Flip Wilson and Mary Tyler Moore and Carol Burnett and I Love Lucy. Very poor judgement on their part.

  3. YOU ARE ALL BRINGING ALOT OF NEW PROGRAMS TO TVLAND WHY NOT STICK TO THE OLD SHOWS. I WOULD LIKE TO SEE MARY TYLER MOORE, FRED SANFORD, ARCHIE BUNKER, ANDY GRIFFITH, NEWHART, AND THE JEFFERSONS OR AT LEASE DO A MARATHON ON THE SHOWS, THE OLD SHOWS AR THE BEST.
