Wilmington Plans Second DTV Test

Aug 27, 2008  •  Post A Comment

Broadcasters in the city of Wilmington, N.C. will turn off analog signals for five minutes at 7:30 p.m. on Sept. 2 for another test to find residents who haven’t yet equipped their TV sets with digital converter boxes, Broadcasting & Cable reports. Residents who will be affected by the switch-off will see a phone number on their TVs to call for more information on how to make the transition. The city previously performed a test for one minute on Aug. 19 and its permanent transition to digital is scheduled for Sept. 8.

  1. More cities need to do testing like this to be ready for the Feb Transition.

  2. I love the way you write and also the theme on your blog. Did you code this yourself or was it done by a professional? I’m very very impressed.
