Bad Market Good News for CNBC

While the stock market has been suffering, viewership for cable business news network CNBC has been reaching new highs, the New York Times reports. More than half a million viewers watched the network during the workday Monday through Wednesday, doubling the number of viewers that tune in during a regular day. CNBC says those numbers have the possibility of being higher since many places–such as workplaces where many businessmen watch– are not measured by Nielsen.
