BET is scheduled to premiere its first original scripted series, “Somebodies,” in the network’s 28-year history, the Associated Press reports. The comedy follows Scottie, a college student who changes his plans and goals, extending his journey of self-discovery. The series stars Hadjii, who also serves as creator, writer, director and executive producer for various episodes, the wire service says.
