Britney Spears was once again the big draw at this year’s MTV Video Music Awards, opening the show and taking three Moonmen statues sans a performance, the New York Times reports. Spears took home honors for female video, best pop video and video of the year. After 16 nominations Sunday night marked Spears’ first wins, the newspaper says.
