IAC/InterActiveCorp Chief Executive Officer Barry Diller said at a conference this week that television advertising practices, including spots that interrupt programming, will be adopted for Web video, while Web advertisements will continue to be designed to target specific users, the Hollywood Reporter says. Diller also said IAC within the next year will sell its 30% stake in Japanese shopping network Jupiter Shop Channel to majority owner Sumitomo, the newspaper reports.
