ESPN’s “NFL Countdown” will introduce new virtual technology as part of its season debut broadcast Sunday, the New York Times reports. The sports network has teamed up with video game company Electronic Arts to allow electronic versions of its anchors to interact with virtual players on screen as they analyze match ups and discuss different situations on the field, the newspaper says.
