TV’s “Buffy the Vampire Slayer,” Sarah Michelle Gellar, is set to star in a new pilot for HBO from writer Charles Randolph, Daily Variety reports. The half-hour series, “The Wonderful Maladys,” will focus on a group of three siblings who lost their parents when they were young. The pilot is expected to shoot early next year, with Gellar, Randolph and Brillstein Entertainment Partners serving as executive producers, according to the trade paper.
