To help promote Disney’s theatrical release of its upcoming “High School Musical 3: Senior Year,” social networking site MySpace announced today the launch of the “HSM3 School Spirit Contest,” AdAge reports. Entire high school senior classes can enter to win a trip to a Walt Disney resort and a pep rally featuring singer Natasha Bedingfield. Disney is hoping to attract older audiences by advertising on MySpace, where 85% of users are 18 or older. “High School Musical 3” is the first film in the franchise to be released theatrically. The first two installments were huge ratings successes on the Disney Channel.
