Joost unveils its beta Web site today, complete with a slew of YouTube- and Facebook-type features, MediaWeek reports. The new site eventually will be entirely Flash-based, making it easier for visitors to view video, not unlike YouTube. JoostFeed informs users of what their friends are watching on the site, which is similar to Facebook’s News Feed alerts. The feed and the new feature allowing users to create personal profiles is Joost’s way of combating Internet TV viewing’s “solitary” experience.
