MTV advertising once again goes interactive during its annual Video Music Awards, this time with satellite provider Dish Network, AdAge reports. Since Aug. 22 subscribers have been able to vote for the Pepsi Best New Artist award by using their remote control during Pepsi ads the soft-drink company is running on MTV in advance of the event. During the two-hour show, Dish Network subscribers will be shown eight questions on the bottom third of their screens during commercial breaks and during “Pepsi moments” in the show itself. Participating viewers then will receive entries into a contest for Pepsi Stuff codes.
